I wonder what the point of trying to get students to give suggestions on how to change our school is when all the sensible things like fixing the broken plumbing are going to be tossed for materialistic crap like bringing music players on campus or being able to use phones during passing period? The administration's probably just gonna go "lolno" at these things, anyway. Really, the meeting they had two years ago wasn't that much of a blast. The only good thing that came out of that one was getting automatic paper towel dispensers and hand dryers in the bathroom, the former of which we promptly abused. The only thing I know of that passed was that now we can wear flip-flops. Groundbreaking.

I'm pretty sure me appearing again on my list caused a pime taradox (I inputted that I was dressed as Abiru from Sayonara Zestubou Sensei, which is quickly becoming a new favorite fandom for me even though I still haven't watched more than seven episodes of the first season. When I'm done posting I should go look for some icons of the openings.)

Okay, for other things, I got some letters of recommendation from the Highly Gifted program, and it's implying I have a high enough IQ to apply for some high-IQ society crap. I might make it my winter goal to try and join one, since I'm pretty sure that'd look good when I'm applying for colleges. I might be able to get letters from my animation, art, and/or composition teachers, too.

I'm getting back into Dragon Cave, of all things. Halloween might bring the arrival of a chance to get zombies again, and plus vampires might finally get to bite the hell out of unsuspecting eggs.

Wow, has it really been a year already? A year since what, I'm not sure, but cripes. It still seems like yesterday, my dragons on that site still included a twitchy pile of flesh that would become a vampire, I was new to Nico Nico, and I could concentrate on fic-writing. What the heck happened after that!?

I got my new top retainer yesterday. And the guy blamed me for what happened to the first one, saying I must have "dropped it or adjusted it [myself]". Yeah, no, Mr. "Oh hey let's mess with the retainer-- hey why is that tooth moving backwards wtf that's never happened before lol". I was cooperative up until now, but this is a special level of failure. Nevada Orthodontic Care, you can all suck a bag of dicks.

Found my tablet pen. I still wanna get a new tablet, but for now I'll focus on getting PMD: Sky. Which means I need to beat my second full playthrough of Time. I'm over-powered with IQ points and I'm still a failure, what the heck.

Art stuff, been working on building up a portfolio. I think my theme is going to be pencil drawings and abstract close-ups (like, a big close up of engine parts or cabbage leaves). I still have to get a binder to put it in next weekend though. Also, I lost my tablet pen. Again. I'm just gonna give up and get a whole new tablet. This really sucks because I was working on stuff to show off to K-RPG dudes.

Animation stuff. That class makes me rage more than it should. Seriously, how did half these kids even make it here with how they acted last year? They're only better now because Mrs. G doesn't take their bullcrap like Mr. P did. I also am the worst texturer ever. I can model well, I can sort of rig, I can sort of animate, but messing with UVW Maps and making good textures to fit over them is the worst.

We're doing a class project where we'll be entering in that Indiegames competition, but I've lost a lot of interest thanks to my group. I really don't want to do a fangame for it (we're doing one based off Psychonauts -- doesn't help that I've never played it, as awesome as the game sounds), but everyone else in my group insists on it. Ah, whatever, I don't even care at this point. I just want to get it done with already because no one even seems to know what the level is supposed to look like (I think I may be the one in our group the furthest along).

I also got my braces off last week, which is good. I can't get my retainer until next week, though, since my dad has to do some classes for his job this week. They better not break the impression this time. Since my mom's also almost done with her dental work, we're gonna stop going to those orthodontists, because it's been hassle after hassle. I don't feel bad for breaking brace wires anymore.

Also about a month ago, we got a new cockatiel. We call him Gabby, and we're about 75% sure he's a male because of how he acts (he mimics and chatters a lot). We'll find out for sure by next year, I'm thinking. He's a pretty mellow bird, but doesn't stand still when on someonw's finger and just runs around. I have a lot of scratches as a result.

Not a lot's been happening, though. Mostly been running around with the old KRPG group in a new RP, going on MapleStory again to play grindan games, and being edumacated in school. My classes this year are pretty good, since I got to go to the counselor to change the original schedule (no art class, and a student aide position I didn't like). Right now, it looks like this:

1-3: 3D Animation. It's a continuous block of sitting at a computer, fighting with envelopes when I assign bones to a mesh. This block is a bit game-oriented, too, so we'll be designing a game throughout the year.
4: Composition Honors. eff yeah, writan classes!
5: US Government Honors. Ehh. It's a requirement to graduate, but so far it seems okay.
6: AP Studio Art. I get to make a pretty portfolio eventually.

7: Student Aide. In art class. Which is really just an excuse for my teacher to get me more time to work on my stuff.

So yeah. Good-looking senior year. I had the minimum credits for math and science already, although I started with AP Biology in the beginning (I had to drop it because adding in AP Art switched the schedule around majorly).

Hm. I'm starting to think I'm losing a lot of interest in DCS. I dunno why, but I just am. I don't really want to drop, since there's so many people I like there and I've already dropped from one game some of them were at, but I'm sitting on characters at this point and that's just not cool. I mean, I don't think very many people would want to play Goombario and no one's gonna want Reenie, but there's gotta be some people who want Dedede. It wouldn't even hurt if he was picked up and then I came back, anyway -- I'd actually be free to pick up Nana after that. Plus, if I do go, I'm making it so that everyone is still in the city, since they wouldn't have good reasons to leave and then come back later. I'll think about it until the end of the week. But first I should really, really check on Mario Party shenanigans soon.

And for a minor update on things related to that other RP thing I mess with... Not even a few seconds after Tsu' was absolutely and permanently broken, I started to plan how to screw up her daughter. Mind you, her daughter becomes a huge sweetheart of a Pollyanna.So, here's a snippet of me deciding none of my characters in that RP can be happy.

Okay I'll work on RPing later. But first, I'll go and screw up a girl on Princess Maker 2. I wanna see if I can get her a high level of Sin and Refinement without getting her hitched to Lucifon (mainly because I don't want the info about the eloping to cut off the info about her job).

Tried the q-tip stick a a replacement for the pen tip. It was too short, and only managed to get very, very stuck and deep inside the pen. Uh...crap.

Been going on archive binges on webcomics lately. I think it's actually helping me develop a unique voice for certain characters. Too bad it's characters I don't plan to play much anymore, like said OCs.

Way to add tearjerking nightmare fuel on that seizurefest, Bandai. Come on, the first twenty seconds make me feel unhappy inside, and I'm over my attachment to virtual life (have I ever told you guys about the time I bought Creatures for the Playstation, played it for only one day, then cried all night because I was scared my Norns would die?). Just imagine how little kids would feel. I really like the music, though.

Other stories of my past: The Fourth of July reminds me of one of the years when I lived on a street called Heatherbrae. I lived on the corner, so one of my next-door neighbors, who coincidentally had a daughter named Heather, was actually technically on a different street, although I still could visit her or vice versa quite easily.

One year, Heather's family was at her house and they got a hold of some good and less-than-legal-in-Vegas fireworks (you're not allowed to have fireworks that shoot way up in the air here, unless you're special like a company), so me and several other neighbor kids went over to their yard to watch once our parents were done with their own fireworks (they just stayed around in my yard, keeping an eye on us). Heather's mom (I think it was her mom) was sitting right next to the pile of fireworks on the street curb.

Now, you know those flashy seizurey fireworks that you throw on the ground, and they spin around and go places? One of them got a bit out of hand and actually got to the pile of fireworks. I'm not exactly sure what happened next, because as soon as those things began going off, I ran to their porch because I did not like the idea of being hit in the face with less-than-legal-in-Vegas fireworks. A good portion of the stock of fireworks was now gone in a brilliant explosion of colors, but thankfully, Heather's mom was only a little burned on the legs and I think no one else was hurt. Combined with how some of the grass in my backyard started burning when embers fell on it, it was the best Fourth of July ever. I'm rather depressed that no one caught any of this on film. I'd give my left kidney to see my expression when ten fireworks went off at once at the street curb.

Sadly, few people on the street I'm at now had fireworks this year, and no one had less-than-legal-in-Vegas ones (although I saw a few really good ones go off in the neighboring streets). I guess I'll have to keep waiting for a repeat of that year.

I still lack any real updates, so here's some stirred crazy.

I had an extremely disturbing dream where my grandmother was alive again...but dying slowly of a snakebite. w-wtf, self, never have a horrifically depressing and distressing dream ever again. D= That just wasn't cool, self. Also if the dream is any indication you can't dial 911 worth crap. And Nintendo DSes make terrible phones, too.

Hm. I saw a pretty good story on ff.net yesterday, but didn't have the time to read it fully. A few hours later, I went back and the author had deleted it for some reason. Too bad -- what I was able to skim was adorable. I...should probably work on reviewing some really good stories I've seen, too, juuust in case they're on the line too.

Been talking a lot wih SGaI, from my old RP group. Revisiting the past is great fun, even if I cringe at my writing a lot! We're considering doing a short RP together, partially to fill in blanks in our plots, and partially because we just wanna make Tsunami and Sedriss have a screaming match over the other being stupid as hell. None of my characters are allowed to be in love without issues (SBG!Zelda, you don't count. Go back to being a Purity Sue damat)

Maybe I'll end up drawing things from that RP. I did end up doing this, because Tsu' and Jason have an adorable relationship. By which I mean she hits him with chairs and he takes it like a man and keeps her from getting killed. They only had a few direct interactions, but they were great together and that's totally the other reason I want to do that one-on-one thread.

There are ants everywhere in my house. Why are there ants everywhere. I want to just seal the crack they're coming from (I suspect they're not coming from outside, but rather they actually have the colony indoors), but it's right up against some carpet. I'm pretty sure sealant can stick to carpet, so.

As for other things I did... I had the sudden urge to watch Lion King, so I hooked up my old VCR and watched it the other day. I cried forever aaaaaa Mufasa whyyy ;_; I don't think I ever really registered much of the movie as a kid, and I don't recall crying much if at all, but now not only do I understand some of the jokes and references, but I also understand that sometimes it's so damn depressing and ffffffffffff.
